Excellent care requires excellent people
Every person in our Practice is essential to your care so we endeavour to recruit, train and retain the best people. Everyone who joins us understands our expectations and receives regular training and personal development to ensure we all share the same ethos of putting our patients at the heart of everything we do.
By providing a caring environment for everyone, we engender loyalty. As the saying goes – we don’t expect loyalty, we earn it. Our practice is part of Rodericks Dental, a company with over 65 practices across the country. We are different because our company is run by dentists – for patients.
I qualified from Cardiff university in 1994 and spend five years working in Tonypandy before starting Bryant Dental practice in Treorchy. I have developed a busy mixed practice since that time with the support of our friendly team. Personally I have developed specific interests in cosmetic dentistry, in particular in combination with the worn dentition. I also carry out simple othodontics and facial aesthetics. I have been a post graduate trainer since 2001 for new dental graduates, and therapists leaving university
I qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1996 and worked in practice also in Cardiff. I then held a variety of posts in the South Wales area in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery before returning to university to study Medicine. I qualified as a doctor in 2003 and worked in Accident and Emergency and in surgical specialities, whilst also continuing to work as a dentist in practice. I returned to full time dentisrty and have worked in Bryants for 8 years. I have a special interest in Oral Surgery and am also qualified to carrry out aesthetic treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers.
I graduated from Cardiff Dental School in 2012. After completing vocational training in Brecon, I undertook a year split working between Prince CHarles Hospital in Merthyr, Heath Hospital Cardiff and in Dental Public Health. TOgether, this helped in developing my oral surgery and restorative skill base. I have been working at Bryant Dental Practice since August 2014.
I graduated in 2012 before spending a year working at a general dental practice in Barry. This gave me a good idea of the areas of dentistry that I wanted to explore further. Following this I worked as a Oral and Maxillofacial senior house officer at Prince Charles Hospital. I then moved on to complete further training in Paediatric Dentistry at Cardiff Dental School. Both the surgical and paediatric posts gave me invaluable experience and furthered my skill base. I subsequently moved to New Zealand for a year where I practiced as a general dentist before starting in Bryant Dental Practice in December 2015.
I joined Bryant Dental Practice in September 2015 after graduating from Cardiff Dental School. I enjoy all aspects of dental treatment, but particularly enjoy restorative dentistry. My hobbies include playing football, travelling and scuba diving.
